Refund & Return Policy

1. Introduction
At Pure Bred Chinese Crested Puppies (the “Breeder”, “we”, “us”, “our”), we pride ourselves on healthy, happy puppies and aim for your full satisfaction. This policy outlines the conditions under which we offer refunds or returns for the puppies you purchase.
2. Eligibility for Return
Because live animals are involved, our return and refund policy is more limited than for inanimate goods. A puppy is eligible for return only if all of the following are true:

The puppy was purchased from us and payment was received in full.

The puppy is returned to us in good health, free from neglect, abuse or undue stress.

The return is initiated within 5 days of purchase (commonly 7 days or 14 days) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

You must notify us in writing (email or signed letter) of your intent to return the puppy within that timeframe.

The puppy must be returned to us (or delivered to us at your cost) in the same condition as when you received it (reasonable wear and tear excepted).

Any health guarantee we provided applies and must have been activated (e.g., you used the puppy within the guaranteed period, took it to a licensed vet, etc.).
3. Refunds

Upon timely and approved return of the puppy as above, we will issue a refund of the purchase price less any applicable costs (transportation, veterinary expenses incurred due to misuse, etc.).

Refunds will be processed within [3] business days of receiving the returned puppy.

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for purchase unless otherwise agreed.

If you opted for delivery/shipping, shipping costs are not refundable unless we are at fault.
4. Health Guarantee & Replacement Option

We provide a health guarantee (for example: the puppy is free of congenital defects for [3 weeks).

If the puppy is found to have a covered health issue and returns within the guarantee period, we may offer either:

a replacement puppy of similar age/value when available, or
-
a refund per Section 3 above.

The guarantee does not cover issues caused by lack of proper care, accidents, parasitic infection from outside, failure to follow our care instructions, or inherited problems that arise after the guarantee period.

To activate the guarantee you must obtain a licensed veterinarian’s written diagnosis and notify us within [X] days of the vet visit.
5. Process for Returns

Provide: your purchase receipt, the puppy’s name/ID, date of purchase, reason for return/refund, and any vet documentation (if health‑related).

Arrange for safe transportation of the puppy back to our facility at your cost (unless we agree otherwise).

We inspect the returned puppy upon arrival; if accepted we proceed with refund/replacement as governed above.
6. Exceptions & Non‑Refundable Circumstances

No returns or refunds for change of mind after the return period has expired.

No refunds if the puppy is returned in poor health due to neglect, misuse or inadequate care.

No refunds for additional expenses such as travel, lodging, grooming, vaccinations, licensing, etc.

No refunds for puppies sold “as‑is” if such was clearly indicated in the purchase agreement.

If a puppy dies outside the guarantee period, we may offer a credit toward a future purchase (at our discretion) rather than a cash refund.
7. Transferability
This policy applies only to the original purchaser. Transfers of purchase to another party do not transfer the right to refunds/returns under this policy unless expressly agreed in writing.
8. Shipping/Delivery Risk
If we deliver or ship the puppy, you assume risk of transportation once it is in your care. We highly recommend you arrange proper travel crates, temperature control, breaks, and vet check upon arrival. We are not responsible for shipping‐related injuries or deaths unless directly caused by our negligent shipping arrangements.
9. Amendments to Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Return Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect when posted on our website with the updated “Effective Date”. Your purchase remains governed by the version in effect at the time of purchase.
