Refund & Return Policy for Chinese Crested Puppies

1. Introduction

At Pure Bred Chinese Crested Puppies (the “Breeder”, “we”, “us”, “our”), we pride ourselves on raising healthy, happy puppies and aim for your full satisfaction. We understand that bringing a new companion into your home is a major life event. Therefore, this policy outlines the specific conditions under which we offer refunds or returns for the Chinese Crested puppies you purchase from our kennel.

2. Eligibility for Return

Because we are dealing with live animals, our return and refund policy is more specialized than for inanimate goods. A Chinese Crested puppy is eligible for return only if all the following conditions are met:

  • The puppy was purchased directly from us, and payment was received in full.

  • The puppy is returned in good health, free from neglect, abuse, or undue stress.

  • The return is initiated within 14 days of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • You notify us in writing (email or signed letter) of your intent to return the Chinese Crested puppy within that timeframe.

  • The puppy is delivered to us in the same condition as when you received it.

3. Refunds and Processing

Upon the timely and approved return of your Chinese Crested puppy, we will issue a refund of the purchase price, less any applicable costs (such as non-refundable deposits, transportation, or veterinary expenses incurred due to misuse).

  • Timeline: Refunds are processed within 3 business days of receiving the puppy back at our facility.

  • Method: Refunds are issued via the original payment method.

  • Shipping: If you opted for delivery or a flight nanny, shipping costs are non-refundable unless we are at fault.

4. Health Guarantee & Replacement Options

Every purebred Chinese Crested puppy we sell comes with a health guarantee against congenital defects. If a licensed veterinarian identifies a covered health issue within the guarantee period, we offer two primary solutions:

  1. Replacement: A replacement Chinese Crested puppy of similar age and value when one becomes available.

  2. Refund: A refund as outlined in Section 3.

Please note that this guarantee does not cover issues caused by improper care, accidents, or failure to follow our specific Chinese Crested care instructions. To activate this guarantee, you must provide a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian.

5. The Return Process

To ensure the safety of our Chinese Crested puppies, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your purchase receipt, the puppy’s ID, and any relevant veterinary documentation.

  3. Arrange for safe transportation back to our facility at your cost. We will inspect the puppy upon arrival before finalizing the refund.

6. Exceptions and Non-Refundable Circumstances

We cannot offer refunds for a change of heart” once the return period has expired. Furthermore, no refunds will be issued if the puppy is returned in poor health due to inadequate care. Expenses such as travel, grooming, or local licensing are the responsibility of the buyer and are not subject to reimbursement.

7. Shipping and Delivery Risk

When we ship Chinese Crested puppies to states like Florida, Texas, or California, the buyer assumes the risk of transportation once the puppy is in their care. We highly recommend a veterinary check-up immediately upon arrival to confirm the puppy’s health status.
